Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls and visit Ziwa Rhino sanctuary on your way
Your 4-day safari to Murchison Falls National Park begins with an early morning departure from Kampala. The drive to the park takes around 5-6 hours, with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see the rhinos. After the walk, you’ll continue the drive to the park, arriving in the afternoon. Check-in at your lodge, relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the park.
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise
Start your day early with a game drive through the park. Murchison Falls National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and many more. Your guide will take you through the park, pointing out animals and providing information about their behavior and habitats. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation time.
In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Nile River to the bottom of the falls. The boat ride offers you an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. At the bottom of the falls, you’ll get off the boat and hike to the top of the falls. The hike is a bit strenuous but totally worth it. From the top of the falls, you’ll have stunning views of the Nile River as it cascades down the falls.
Day 3: Game drive and visit top of the falls
After breakfast, head out for a second game drive. This time, explore a different part of the park, and keep an eye out for any animals you might have missed on the first game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation time.
In the afternoon, you will drive to the top of the falls for an exciting adventure around the most powerful waterfalls in the world . Enjoy the breath taking moment taking photos of the yourself and the great nile river, you will appreciate the falls seeing the force and energy they show as the roar pouring their water into the Albert Nile. Return to the lodge after the thrilling visit to the falls for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala
Your 4days visit to the famous Murchison falls national park is crowned on this days as you finally c heck out or your lodge to embark on your journey back home. You will enjoy your breakfast and with your packed bags depart the park and head back to Kampala, arriving in the late afternoon.
