Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe international airport

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Day 4: Gorilla trekking

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala for overnight.

Day 2: Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park.

The drive will take approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and head for  a mid morning game drive, take a game drive through the park. Lake Mburo National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and giraffes. There is also a good chance of spotting leopards and hyenas.  In afternoon after enjoying your lunch  and relaxing  you will have a  boat cruise on the lake and view different water animals in the water and the sundowns will catch you on the boat after which you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Mburo to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive will take approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch.   In the afternoon, take a community walk to visit the Batwa people. The Batwa are a forest-dwelling tribe who have lived in Bwindi for centuries. This is a great opportunity to learn about their culture and way of life.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting the gorilla trekking safari. You will be assigned a gorilla family to visit, and a ranger guide will lead you through the forest to find the gorillas.

Gorilla trekking can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas, so make sure to bring comfortable hiking shoes, a rain jacket, and plenty of water.

After the trek, return to the lodge for some relaxation time.

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast  Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch.  In the afternoon, take a game drive through the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. There is also a good chance of spotting leopards and hyenas.

Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Safari

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. There is also a good chance of spotting leopards and hyenas.   In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. The channel is home to one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa, as well as crocodiles and a variety of bird species.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure

After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Kyambura Gorge is home to a community of chimpanzees, as well as a variety of other primates and bird species.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and then drive back to Entebbe for your departure flight.
